Grand Opening

My friend Kristin and I are hosting our very own show this September! The Outdoor Craft Store is an outdoor is an outdoor retail art/craft show held in the charming village of downtown Swarthmore, PA on September 18th from 9:30 to 4. Title: Jewelry Workshop
I will be hosting a summer Jewelry and Craft workshop at the Swarthmore Public Library July 19th-July 23rd from 2:00-4:00 pm. Here’s a little blurb about the class:
Join designer and illustrator Sheri Pray as she teaches techniques in jewelry design and application, how to make original illustrated pendants and other wearable crafting techniques. A wonderful introduction to DIY projects that are creative and functional, for both girls and guys grades 6-9.

Title: Summer Shows
Join me Saturday, June 12th at the Bethlehem Ice Rink from 10 to 5 for The Indiemade Craft Market's first spring show. Expect a fun, funky craft show with music, food, and fabulous swag bags for the first 50 attendees.
I will be participating in this year's Haddonfield Crafts & Fine arts Festival on Kings Highway July 10th and 11th. Area restaurants will set up outdoor cafés and musicians will entertain the crowds as they view the unique work from artisans from across the country. The show runs from 11 to 8 on Saturday and 12 to 5 on Sunday.

Title: Fall Shows
For your last-minute holiday shopping, visit the Indiemade Craft Market on Saturday, December 5th in Allentown PA. This indoor show takes place in the Starlight Ballroom from 10 to 5, with food, drink, and live entertainment.
I will also be participating in the Fall Festival in Haddonfield Saturday, October 17th from 10 to 5 on Kings Highway (rain date Sunday, October 18 from 12 to 5). Shopping is the highlight of the festival, but after you’ve blown your budget there will still be lots to do. Strolling musicians wander the street, horse-drawn carriages give kids rides and many merchants and restaurants hold Fall Festival specials.
Join over 20,000 people on Saturday, October 10th from 9 to 4 for the annual Fall Festival in downtown Moorestown. The town will welcome the fall season with fine arts and crafts, antiques and classic cars, scarecrows and pumpkin painting. The Main Street business district will be alive with activities for all ages and interests. Be sure to check it out!
Visit me at Burlington County's 33rd Annual Arts in the Park Festival, held on the grounds of Historic Smithville Park in Eastampton, NJ on Sunday, September 27th from 11 to 5. In addition to the Arts & Crafts Show, the festival includes kids craft activities, two music stages, a dance stage, and a theater stage. It's the largest free arts festival in New Jersey.
Check out the Promenade’s Handcraft Harvest on Saturday, September 26th from 10 to 5. The show will take place in the center court, so enjoy some outdoor shopping and live entertainment.
Come see me at the Maple Shade Sidewalk Sale Saturday, September 12th from 9 to 3. Enjoy an afternoon of family fun, live entertainment, craft and merchandise vendors, costume characters, and shopping at local businesses.

Title: Brand New Etsy Shop
So I finally got around to opening an Etsy shop. I don’t know what took me so long. I’ve been a huge fan of the site for what seems like forever. So many amazingly talented people all in one place! It’s got lots of beautiful, really unique stuff. Plus I love the idea that I’m supporting handmade. I’ve listed a few things from my current site to get it going, and I plan to add some new work and some sale items a little later. Check it out!

Come hang out along the Schuylkill on Saturday October 4 from 10 to 5 for the 3rd annual East Falls Arts by the River Festival. The show takes place at Inn Yard Park, located between Midvale Avenue and the Falls Bridge along Kelly Drive and Ridge Avenue. Call 215-848-8084 for more info, or click on the link below.
Be sure to check out the Fall Festival in Haddonfield on Saturday, October 18th from 11 to 8. It’s just a ten-minute ride from both the Ben Franklin and Walt Whitman bridges, and easy to find no matter where you’re coming from. After the show, enjoy a latte at one of Haddonfield’s many coffeehouses, or dine alfresco at a sidewalk café.
Buy handmade on October 25th from 10 to 4 at the Flying W Airport in Medford NJ. This is a half indoor half outdoor show with a Halloween theme, complete with door prizes and goodie bags.

Title: Fall Shows
Now that vacations are over and cooler weather will be setting in, I’m sure you’ll be looking for some fun on the weekends (plus, you could always get a jump on that holiday shopping). I’ll be periodically updating my list of fall shows, so be sure to check back often.
Come visit me at the Maple Shade Sidewalk Sale on Saturday September 6th from 9 am to 3 pm. They’ll be over 200 booths along Main Street between Fellowship Road and Coles Avenue, so I’m sure there’ll be something for everyone.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Art Star show for making it a success (despite thunderstorms and tornado warnings on Saturday). It was great to meet new friends and other talented vendors. And for those of you that got to preview my merchandise that's not yet on the site, I am working on getting the new designs and wooden pendants up sometime this week.

Title: Art Star Craft Bazaar
I am excited to announce I will be attending the Art Star Craft Bazaar on May 31st and June 1st at the Penn’s Landing Great Plaza on Saturday from 11 to 7 and Sunday from 11 to 5. This alternative craft fair attracts young, industrious types, who sew, knit, silk-screen, design, and reconstruct their pants off. And don’t worry guys; it’s not just a bunch of jewelry and purses for the ladies (although it could be the perfect spot to pick up that belated mothers day gift…).

Title: Grand Opening
So the store is officially open! It's a bit later than anticipated, but better late than never, right? I've been pretty busy these days, but i am currently working on some new products that i hope to list by late spring. I'll keep the blog updated with my progress, so check back often. I'm also planning on attending a few shows in the next couple of months, so if you're in the Philly area be sure to check them out. There will be more on that to come.
